Single 8-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 25 L / 38 Hz
Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer and features a 25 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the external dimensions are 521 × 292 × 238 mm (20.48 × 11.5 × 9.4 in). The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for drivers with moderate cone excursion and airflow demand. This box serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. It is also optimized for everyday car-audio use, accounting for limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound.
