Single 8-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 15 L / 38 Hz
Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer, featuring a 15 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet has external dimensions of 551 × 298 × 241 mm (22.21 × 11.81 × 9.53 in). It is engineered for everyday car-audio use with limited trunk space and installation constraints, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure that balances bass extension, size, output, and low distortion. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use with high airflow demand.
