This simple rectangular cabinet, constructed from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material, is designed for a single 12-inch rectangular subwoofer. The vented (bass-reflex) enclosure features a 45 L chamber tuned to 32 Hz and utilizes one L-shaped slot port. To ensure rigidity and reduce panel vibration in high-output systems, the design includes a double-thickness front baffle and one internal brace. Measuring 625 × 407 × 366 mm (24.55 × 16.03 × 14.43 in) (W × H × D), the box is ideal for everyday car audio where trunk space and installation constraints matter, as well as home stereo systems seeking a balance of bass extension, size, and low distortion.
