Single 8-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 15 L / 38 Hz
Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is specifically designed for a single 8-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 15 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz via one L-shaped slot port. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 461 × 245 × 218 mm (18.13 × 9.65 × 8.62 in). It is ideal for everyday car-audio use where trunk space and installation constraints are factors, as well as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems. This design balances bass extension, output, and low distortion while providing a port area suitable for drivers with moderate cone excursion and airflow demand.
