Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 15-inch rectangular subwoofer and features a 65 L chamber tuned to 35 Hz. Built from 18 mm (3/4 inch) material, the simple rectangle cabinet has external dimensions of 663 × 466 × 419 mm (26.62 × 18.39 × 16.55 in). The double-thickness front baffle and one internal brace increase cabinet rigidity while reducing panel vibration, making it suitable for high-output systems. It utilizes one L-shaped slot port with an area optimized for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented use requiring high airflow. This versatile design balances bass extension and low distortion for home music systems, while also considering trunk space and installation constraints for everyday car-audio use.
