Single 8-inch Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 20 L / 38 Hz

This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch round subwoofer, featuring a 20 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. The cabinet has a simple rectangle shape built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material with external dimensions of 510 × 281 × 234 mm (20.04 × 11.1 × 9.24 in). It is engineered for everyday car-audio use, accounting for limited trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound, while also serving as a general-purpose home subwoofer for music and stereo systems that balances bass extension, cabinet size, output, and low distortion. The design utilizes one L-shaped slot port with a port area suitable for high-output drivers with increased cone excursion and airflow demand.
