Single 8-inch Rectangular Vented / Bass-Reflex Subwoofer Box - 25 L / 38 Hz
Description
This vented (bass-reflex) enclosure is designed for a single 8-inch rectangular subwoofer and features a 25 L chamber tuned to 38 Hz. Built from 16 mm (5/8 inch) material in a simple rectangle shape, the cabinet measures 556 × 316 × 248 mm (21.84 × 12.48 × 9.8 in). It serves as a general-purpose home subwoofer enclosure for music and stereo systems, balancing bass extension, size, output, and low distortion. It is also ideal for everyday car-audio use, considering trunk space, installation constraints, and balanced sound. The design incorporates one L-shaped slot port with an area suitable for high-output, large-excursion drivers and SPL-oriented applications with high airflow demand.
